Mercedes-Benz Financial takes top honors in J.D. Power study
Mercedes-Benz Financial (MBF) in the United States could not have gotten off to a better start as they begin their journey under the new Daimler Financial Services. On August 24, J.D. Power and Associates announced that Mercedes-Benz Financial was named number one in Overall Satisfaction amongst all captives. MBF also ranked highest in Floor Planning Satisfaction for the second consecutive year, and placed first in Prime Retail Credit surpassing BMW Financial Services (BMW FS).
 
Highlights from the 2007 J.D. Power Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study:
 
 
 
In the United States, Mercedes-Benz Financial is number one in retail credit in the 2007 J.D. Power dealer satisfaction study.
  • Number 1 in Overall Satisfaction – MBF took over the number one spot from BMW FS.
  • Number 1 in Floor Planning – MBF earns a J. D. Power award in this category for the second consecutive year and with a nine point increase over the 2006 results.
  • Number 1 in Prime Retail Credit – MBF took over the number one spot from BMW FS who held the number one position for the previous three years.
  • Number 2 in Retail Leasing – MBF closed the gap by 20 points from 2006 and is now only six points behind category leader BMW FS.
  • Number 2 in Account Management – MBF is just seven points behind GMAC.
