The Headquarters of Daimler Financial Services and its worldwide activities in the future-oriented markets of financial and mobility services is ideally situated in Berlin. Our global services are based at Potsdamer Platz, one of the most interesting places in Europe.

This vibrant center in the heart of Berlin was almost completely destroyed during World War II. After the division of Berlin, Potsdamer Platz became a "no man's land" between East and West Berlin. After the opening of the wall, this wasteland turned into one of the largest construction sites in Europe. Virtually overnight, this unattractive border area evolved into the crown jewel and symbol for East/West unification. Today, this renowned entertainment, cultural and business center is growing rapidly and has become one of the main tourist attractions in Berlin.

Being situated at Potsdamer Platz is indicative of Daimler Financial Services' and Germany's role in the service sector in the future.

The building, designed by Renzo Piano, offers about 1,000 employees ideal working conditions to perform dynamic and innovative tasks. Echoing the elements of a cathedral of the 20th century, the ocre-colored building with its light-penetrated atrium, facade structure and pillars is a commanding structure at Potzdamer Platz. The enormous glass windows offer a panorama view of the pulsating capital from the higher floors. Surrounded by cinema complexes, restaurants, cafes and shops, you can enjoy the new Berlin when the work day is over.
